I have an unusual background; I was forced to take over my father’s company when he passed away unexpectedly when I was 22 years old, I was in the board of a different student associations, I had several student- and voluntary jobs, I worked at a start-up; I lead a multi-cultural life. And for such a life, I searched a job that could fulfill my needs to continue this life. That’s where I found OrangeCoat.
Here, I am appreciated in two ways: by the trust that is immediately given to me and the responsibilities I am given. With the assignments that fit well with my studies and background, and the constructive guidance I receive, I feel I am making great strides in my personal and professional growth. Not in a way that I had foreseen. Also, the process to get into OrangeCoat was entirely different to the many application processes I went through at large companies; Wiljan and I had a relaxed conversation in a restaurant about me as a person, what I wanted in life and work. I felt relaxed, heard and respected. After a few minutes I knew it immediately; I wanted to be a part of OrangeCoat.
Now I enjoy working at OrangeCoat, where work is fun and challenging. I feel stretched and supported and I appreciate my OrangeCoat colleagues incredibly, for their experience and expertise.

I’ve joined OrangeCoat as their Office Manager. I enjoy organizing and ensuring everything runs smoothly in the company. The content of my work at OrangeCoat is 50% new to me, so I am learning fast on the job. My background is not corporate but having worked ad hoc with OrangeCoat they’ve appreciated what I bring to the table and are willing to invest in my development.
